Flight (Forces & Motion) 2nd Grade

You have to love a Science topic that lets you throw paper airplanes and count it as schoolwork. Here's a rundown of our Science of Flight study:

Activities/Experiments:

The Magic School Bus Soaring Into Flight Science Kit:
a variety of activities (12 total) about air pressure, air resistance, lift, drag, and gravity; including paper airplanes, a glider, a foam rocket, and parachute.

We also took a field trip to a local children's Science museum, where we spent extra time at the exhibits on flight and forces & motion.

  1. This is so awesome, but I'm having a hard time reading the titles of the books with the light colored font.

  2. Thank you for pointing out that problem with the book titles. I hadn't realized that they had that white background. I guess I'll need to preview my posts in the future. :)
